ACS hosts a pet loss support group for people coping with the death of a pet.
The sessions are led by Connie Steutzer, LCSW, who has 20 years experience
in grief support work. The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the
month. The group is free, but pre-registration is required for the first visit.

Chicago Canine Rescue Foundation to help homeless dogs find loving homes and
raise awareness about adopting a shelter animal. This FREE neighborhood event
offers shopping discounts, and egg "hunt" for freebies, family entertainment
and the opportunity to meet many adoptable dogs from CCRF. Kids are invited
to enjoy face painting, sidewalk coloring, balloons and a meet and greet with
